Let's just say when I went to check if my wages had been banked in I got a nice surprise.

Hang out place last night till the early hours of dawn was @ the pub next to G6 club in MidValley. Boyfriend, ah karen and I were there with some other old friends from college.

Since it was Ladies Night, ladies who go there get two coupons each for 2 free drinks from their limited menu. The drinks on offering yesterday was Belinni champagne (recommended! Fruity with strong alcohol taste!), Tea Lady (a bit sweet for my liking, but not too bad) and Gimlet (didn't try this, no one ordered this one).
The coupons can only be redeemed between 10pm - 12 am though.


The view from the balcony at G6 is nice, and the landscaping is lovely! Lots of plants and water features everywhere, so romantic.



That's all I want to blog about now, the boyfriend is actually on his way over to watch badminton matches on TV accompany me while I finish up my work. Yes, work work work. I've been working through this whole weekend (WHAT WEEKEND?! KNNCCB), and not spent enough time with him. Furthermore he is going outstation starting tomorrow for a whole week =(((((



Have a good week ahead yah. I will try to find the time to blog about my homemade 'bento box' lunches below RM 5 next.

Boyfriend today on my 'interview shoes' (4 inches of closed-toe torture) - *pointing to my shoes* "I can hear your toes screaming."

Boyfriend in ah Ying's house during Earth Hour (Earth Hour was when kind, environment-caring people were meant to turn off all lights and electrical appliances etc.) - *Him going round her house turning off lights in doorway and lamp* "We have to follow the rules."

Boyfriend today as well watching me put on makeup - "I want to wear mascara too."

..but one hell of a sucky way to celebrate my birthday!


Pffft.


Dun care. Still went to Manchester for shopping the whole day yesterday. Got my 'dim sum' fix as well, FINALLY. I know it's winter, and the weather is like sub-zero, but honestly, my habit of wearing short skirts with tights has to cease sooner or later, lol.

Got loads of pictures, but haven't transferred them to the computer yet, so be patient okay?

Tuesday night - One drink while out with friends at a pub for a birthday dinner.
Wednesday afternoon afternoon - One drink while out with a friend + food.
Wednesday night - 5 drinks during company's Xmas party (yeah, exercised self-control okay)

It was the cocktails during the party, I swear. They tasted so DAMN GOOD (no taste of alcohol AT ALL). But the alcohol kicked in RIGHT HARD AFTERWARDS.

The amazing thing was actually being able to walk back home (albeit a little unsteady). Thank god my friend was there as well, so I got home safe.

Woke up with a slight hangover (left temple pounding) but still managed to make it to work early and I'm fine now.

But not for myself this time. This time around it's for a friend. For whom I owe much to. It's surprising how quickly circumstances change, but hey, I really do owe him a lot. Without his help I would probably still be jobless after fucking off from my last job.

On top of that, it's also for all his help in 'taking care of me', and by that I mean without him around, I would be walking back alone late at night many days after work.

So yeah, birthday present a bit more mahal than what I would spend on, but I've just paid for it, and since the bloody British Pound is dropping, fuck it.


I just hope you like it. You'd better like it. Apple products are not cheap okay?

Halloween. An excuse to dress up, play with fake blood, and slap foundation which is 2 shades higher on my face (so it became whiter than normal). Heh.

For a guy with a knife through his head, he looks pretty darned happy..and I'd like to think it's because he got to camwhore with two beautiful girls.





I actually wore my contact lenses inside out so that the grey would be more obvious, hence more freaky in other words.

Let's see..Embrace is a nightclub in Sheffield. It consists of 5 rooms. And I realize that the above sentences sound as if I am writing an essay or I have written them under the influence of substances.

On Tuesday, well, we attended the Oriental Night Party @ Embrace, and made it into a reunion of ex-coursemates. Well, those who were around, anyway.





Shite, what a horridly unflattering angle for me. I swear my stomach is a lot flatter than that!! And this is like the only picture of us girls together leh!

And Peter, well, let's just say that on that day he was suffering from a truly horrible adverse reaction to seafood, and that his eyes were a whole lot better than before leaving the house. He decided to be a 'Korean' on that day, lol..Anhansayeoh..How do you say it?! Lol... Damn kesian wei..




And there was a panda. Seriously, a panda (Well, two, actually) in Embrace, beat that!!



























Okay-lah, I lied. It was actually a guy dressed like a panda (Eh, hello? Halloween is on the 31st!).

This is what it's like being on the last train home, when you and the driver are the only humans on the train.






Anyway, one of the things I enjoy (which contribute immensely to the calorie count in my daily diet) is Tesco's jam doughnuts. Why don't they have this back home?!?

Originally there were 5 doughnuts. Then my boss ate one. So left 4 only lor.






Hello, I am a doughnut monster who just woke up not too long ago and am a bit cranky at the point of taking this picture.






Food aside, today was a really really bright and sunny day! So sunny till my room mate and I ended up wearing shorts, t shirts and flip-flops. Really felt like tourists especially since almost everyone else was wearing jeans and had jackets with them.

Climbed up here to take a photo. I'm laughing cos' it was goddamned slippery and I nearly slipped. Nearly only okay.

Tank yew many many sweetheart!!

The present really made my day. Guess that's what you meant by 'happy things' eh? ^_^


The weirdest thing of all is that quite lately, I've been catching whiffs of that smell, and whaddya know, now I have my very own as well as a lovely pink eyeshadow!!!

And I was just musing a few days ago to myself that all the perfume I own are all gifts. Yup, just a random fact about myself is that I have NEVER bought perfume for myself in my life.


So yay! New perfume! Mwah! *Hwugs*

Won't blog about this today, but just to sum up the above, I got invited by Audrey for the Tuborg beer launch party. (Thanks babe!!!) FYI, it's under Carlsberg. Anyhow, pictures are all with Donny and I haven't gotten any of the piccas yet.

Anyway yesterday was a really interesting day for more reasons than one. Hmm..I guess one of the reasons why would be that I actually got chauffeured there in a Beemer, and for the first time in my life EVER, there was a real bodyguard who actually opened the door anytime the small fart or I got in or out of the car. Thanks to my dad who actually made it possible. Heh. All the more reason for me to go look for some rich men now.
