Happy 51st Merdeka Day, Malaysia.

Once again, I miss the National Day Celebrations back in Malaysia for the second year in a row.

Might end up missing it next year as well. We'll see.

Clearing vacancies in the University of Bedfordshire 2008.

*Sponsored post*

Summer is almost over and a new term begins soon! All of you who are heading to university, have you made up your minds yet? Yes? No? Or is it a rare case of you wanting to study in a specific university, but there are no vacancies or somehow or other you applied late?

Well, one university is having a Clearing session. In fact, I would like to introduce University of Bedfordshire - Clearing 2008 which has already begun actually, on the 14th of August.

Clearing 2008 is actually used by more than 30,000 people each year in order to find the right courses which suit them. Their clearing team is also on standby to offer potential students support and advice on a variety of topics like which course would be right for them, answer queries about finance as well as all one needs to know about studying in the University of Bedfordshire.

If you are interested and would like to find out more, you could try calling their hotline at 0800 013 0925 to apply for a place or drop by their website to find out a little bit more.

Photos!!! Last train back home/ camwhoring/ doughnut monster

This is what it's like being on the last train home, when you and the driver are the only humans on the train.

Anyway, one of the things I enjoy (which contribute immensely to the calorie count in my daily diet) is Tesco's jam doughnuts. Why don't they have this back home?!?

New packaging which says "Doughnut Monster"

Originally there were 5 doughnuts. Then my boss ate one. So left 4 only lor.

Hello, I am a doughnut monster who just woke up not too long ago and am a bit cranky at the point of taking this picture.

Food aside, today was a really really bright and sunny day! So sunny till my room mate and I ended up wearing shorts, t shirts and flip-flops. Really felt like tourists especially since almost everyone else was wearing jeans and had jackets with them.

Hari ini, semangat untuk bercamwhore membara tinggi!

At first tak jadi because my skill at taking pictures of myself has become rusty. Lol.

ah ling with a dandelion.

Second attemot.

Yay! Do you like my Oscar De La Renta sunglasses? xD

With my room mate on the grass. I was like "I want to take pictures on the grass!" But before we could do so had to check carefully to make sure that was no dog poo around.

The ice-cream is damn nice hor. Sainsbury's own brand. Syiok! I'm going to get some more *claps hands*

Climbed up here to take a photo. I'm laughing cos' it was goddamned slippery and I nearly slipped. Nearly only okay.

So pretty much that's a few photos which I wanted to share with all of you. Hopefully tomorrow can get some more good ones at the Sheffield Fayre this year. It's Bank Holiday tomorrow, which means it's a public holiday, yay!

xoxo,

Wow, deleted just like that.

Seriously, what is your problem?

To prove to the world that since your girlfriend is not happy I will delete this and that?

Yup. You got your point across alright. The point that you take matters into your own hands too dramatically.

Thanks a lot.

Itsy-bitsy teeny weeny .....mahjong tiles -__-""

The first:

Guess what I was doing?

The second:

Check out the mahjong tiles man! They are TINY. Compare it to the size of my fingers.
It's a nine bamboo tile, btw.

I was so fascinated. But not as fascinated as the time when I realized that the boyfriend could do something with some part of his body, LOL. (beebee please don't kill me. After all I didn't state exactly WHAT)

Anyway Monday looms. Have a good week at work, people.

Earning British pounds is fab!

Just got my gaji (wages) for 5 days of work.

Unfortunately, by the time I got back from work a while ago the shops are all closed (except for the pubs and bars and the odd guy selling food from the van outside those places) so I couldn't spend any of the money.

Nah, kidding. Am waiting for Natwest bank to open on Monday to deposit my cash.

By the way, I got my office job. Today was my last day working in a Chinese takeaway shop in Worksop (near Sheffield) as an order-taker/counter girl (working there, I earn nearly the same amount weekly what I used to get in a MONTH back in Malaysia).

I start the new job on Monday. I am so fucked because I need to shop for office clothes ASAP.

xoxo,
ah ling

P.S: On the way to the train station this afternoon, I passed by the Sheffield stadium and there were loads of people going to the stadium because it is a match day. Dunno which team was playing against Sheffield United though. Anybody want to enlighten me?

realize...

Damn 7 tired!

Damn, so tired.

I was the only person aboard the last train back to Sheffield besides the conductor and the train driver.

Hell man, I wished I brought my camera so I could have cam-whored in the empty train. If I weren't so tired my imagination would have run so wild I would have been scared by my own reflection in the glass. (Think Midnight Meat Train.)

I need to bathe soon and I want my beebee =(

Health and safety in the workplace and injury claims.

I sincerely hope I don't slip on anything tonight. Yeah. How much would it be safe for me to wager that millions of other people all around the globe are hoping for the same thing in their workplace today?

I guess people who hear about accidents at the workplace are quick to blame the employee instead of the employer. But after reading about the many different accident types which can take place, it was an eye-opener to learn that through the eyes of the law, it is not just the fault of the employee or victim.

After whatever unfortunate incident which has befallen on the victim, many are unsure as to how to claim for the appropriate compensation. Yes, I am talking about Injury Claims.

In face, the Injury Claims are not just limited to injuries which happen at your workplace, but also in the instances of tripping and slipping in the supermarket, product liability, and also in traffic accidents.

So, if you are not sure about how to get about the claiming of compensation for your recent misfortune, you may want to check out Claimsforyou.com"
whose Head Office is in London. If you visit their website, you are also able to complete and submit a form available there for a free with no obligation service.

Please note however, that they are only able to help if the accident took place in England or in Wales. Best of luck!

Hello, England.

After 24 hours of traveling alone (I made it!) and waiting for hours at different places, I finally made it back to Sheffield.

I'm tired, my luggage bag lock fucked up (but it's open now, so at least I could get my glasses), and feeling a bit cranky cos missing my beebee.

Btw, thank you lovely people for sending me off to the airport and for being there at such ungodly hours of the morning. Also for those who held farewells for me, thank you very very much. And to the person who couldn't make it to the airport yet came over the night before to pass me my present, thank you very muchie! (You know who you are =) ) So blessed lar, me.

Am thirsty, so have been chugging water like crazy. Luckily for me the tap water here is drinkable. Lol.
