Happi Father's Day.

Not many people @ Grand Imperial in Plaza Damas when we took the family out for Father's Day Makan. Hmm. Why-ah?

Is it because people brush Father's Day off as any other day? True, we shouldn't wait for all these ~~over-commercialized~~ occasions to celebrate. It should be everyday. ~~OK, every other day. Pokai-lah liddat wtf~~

Turning 18, for the 8th year in a row.

My boss asked me yesterday, 'How old are you tomorrow?'

I answered '18 years old!' ~~and the whole office heard our exchange wtf~~.

The BB surprised me with my fav chocolate cake (with pretty pink flowers n icing), and a mug with a piece of paper inside wtf. Actually he meant it as a 'treasure hunt' with the piece of paper having my first clue written on it. ~~but I FOUND my present BEFORE i even knew there was going to be a treasure hunt hurhurhur damnit I'm good~~

Thank you BB. Damnit, you really are romantic enough but your lying is kinda sucky, hahah@ *kisses*

Actually a few days ago he already stressed, and kept stressing that I should not expect any surprise, and I said it was perfectly fine. After all he did get me 4 different Thomas Sabo charm bracelets, each with their own charms, and that should have been enough presents to last me till next birthday.

Snippets of that conversation:

Him: I'm sorry there will be no surprise present or cake. I'm too busy.
Me: It's okay! But there are the perfect partners who fly back overseas from their job, plan and throw a surprise party, give birth to kittens, dress up as a flying ninja and pick their nose all at the same time. You can't even give birth to kittens!
Him: (censored: something about mating with kittens) I can pick my nose!
Me: ....*gives up hope dies*

Me: BB i want a Chanel bag please! I said please!
Him: *pointing to crotch* Please cut it off so I can be a prostitute! (meaning 'I have to whore myself to buy you one')
Me: -____-"

I love you BB, let's enjoy our Vietnam trip!

And so I went on up and saw a daffodil (which I had been eyeing), a small pot of flowers and two bikinis. I also inadvertently saw a pile of money (which was not meant for me wtf).

The room was even tidied, the bed made, and the floor vacuumed.

Living in disbelief / licking Tom Cruise

True, weird things have happened in my life.

This time around, it has to be one of the totally unexpected twists so far.

I've had to swallow my words many times over.
I've told him in jest before that I rather erm, (insert expletive here) a horse than him, if he were the last guy alive on earth.

Whoops.

Hehehhehehehe.

Even if you never read this, well, I just want to say that I'm just glad that we've established what sort of relationship we're in, bee.

Question : What could be more unexpected than me trying to lick an unsuspecting wax figurine of Tom Cruise?

Hmmm...ever since I am not by his side, it seems that of late he has been happily taking photos WITH and OF other females and putting them in his Facebook, wtf..

AHAHAHHAA...okay, they are his colleagues.

They got our horoscope predictions right this time/ updates in my life / I could have died.

Believe it or not, the horoscope prediction in a daily for pigeon and I were quite accurate yesterday.

Pigeon's (Aries) : yadayada something about having a romantic evening. *Check!*

Mine (Capricorn) : yadayada something about a friend who normally doesn't ask for favors would ask me for a favor. *Check!!*

Of course most of the time these predictions are not accurate, and anyway, these are all cheap thrills, wouldn't you agree?

I'm free. The taste of freedom never felt this good. Finally I can wake up as late as I want and not have to panic about not getting to work on time.

It didn't feel good to leave the office, btw.

Everyone was being so nice (but then again, they are nice people), it felt kind of sad to say goodbye. I have to say that some of my ex-colleagues thought I was going off to either:

a) further my studies
b) work in another company
c) get married, wtf -___-

Thank you for all the farewell feasts and hugs. Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision, but then again, once it has been made there's really no point in wondering, is there? No regrets in this life, I shall have.

Pigeon has been so patient lately, I almost feel sorry for him because I know I can be a very ~~veryveryveryveryextremely~~ trying person to be with at times. I'm sorry, beebee. Truly I am. Thank you for ~~not running me over with my car and then pissing on me~~ putting up with me, yeah? Please understand that it's not easy for me to pack up and leave and be all adventurous and then be all perky and happy. I was. Before we got together. And then what happened? We got together. Not saying that any of this is your fault, it's just that I feel uber-stressed out relocating to a different continent out there in the big, bad world for the next one year or so. There, I've said (typed) it out. Sure, fun to be leaving your homeland. But no fun being stressed =(

Sometimes we all forget that we are just human.

This is turning out to be a super long-ass blog post, but honestly I have this urge to just type away.

I could have very nearly died the other day. No shit. I'm still alive though, so thank you God for not letting this pureinnocentandcute girl die. The fact that it could have been ME didn't really sink in until much later. It's quite sad that such unfortunate circumstances have to happen before we realize that life is actually short, and it should be treasured.

P.S: I've made up my mind about something. I hope the boyfriend will understand what and why I'm doing this and that he will find happiness in my decision. *sigh* Do I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS?

Why does everybody seem to be getting married?

There are websites set up to announce to the whole world about upcoming nuptials. There are websites dedicated to the progress of planning the nuptials. And then there are websites meant to record the events before, during and after the nuptials.

WHERE IS MY WEBSITE MEANT TO ANNOUNCE TO THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT MY IMPENDING MARRIAGE, THE PROGRESS OF THE PREPARATIONS AS WELL AS THE EVENTS BEFORE,DURING AND AFTER MY MARRIAGE?

A few more reason why I <333 my other half.

- He takes me out for brunches/lunches/dinners (no breakfast, both of us just can't seem to wake up before 12pm)

- He is more than happy to take me along on outings with friends

- He puts up with my random rubbish/tantrums and tries to cheer me up

And as of today........ *drum roll throws confetti in air*

He was kind enough to agree to pay for part of whatever bag I'm getting next *rubs hands*. I was practically shouting "Deal!!" and "I'll take it!!!" in Seoul Garden Korean BBQ restaurant earlier today when he told me "It's either that or nothing. Take it or leave it".

Muahahahahahahahaha.

Lubchu darling, and it's not only because of all this reasons. Sometimes one just cannot explain the way things are.

Dating Challenge: Crossing the 'Friend Zone'

Saw
this article on Yahoo! and clicked on it to read. I felt somehow compelled to read it because the boyfriend and I were friends first (for nearly 3 years!) before the circumstances changed. Can't say whether or not the boyfriend faced all the 'challenges' written in the article and whether he applied any of the 'rules' in our relationship since I never expected things to turn out like this. In fact, if I had bet good money on whether our friendship would have become a relationship, I would have lost. Badly.

I am really curious to find out what the boyfriend thinks of the article and actually I hope he'll blog about how he turned our friendship into romance. *nudgenudge*.
