There's a mouse in da house & Selamat Hari Raya.


Saw a little brown mouse scuttling across the kitchen and disappearing somewhere into the living room earlier on *freaks out*

I know. I like hamsters and cute furry rodents but most of the time they are CAGED and SAFELY BEHIND BARS.

Wtf, the landlord put rat poison in the house already, why is there still one little critter running around?! I thought the poison was supposed to 'ham kar chan' (kill it's whole family)?!?!?!


On another note, Selamat Hari Raya Aidifitri to all those who are celebrating the festival as well. May this Hari Raya be a blessed one for you.

Food review : Chong Qing steamboat buffet @ Sunway Mentari.



Okay, before I can even start typing properly, looking at the pictures and remembering the food there is making me salivate *drools like orang gila*

Before I left Malaysia, my nice friends (sorry, no pictures of us on that night, we were all too busy stuffing ourselves) decided to belanja me makan there. <333 those people!!


Actually we were supposed to go to Yuen Steamboat on the opposite row of shops there. In fact, we had even put our name down on the list, but the queue was taking too damn long longer than a horse's..whatever and we were all too hungry!!

And I'm actually glad we went to Chong Qing instead. Really.


Here's a few reasons why.

There are FOUR different types of soup. 2 spicy ones (forgot their names, sorry), a tomyum and the herbal one.
(Since one of us was suffering from very VERY terrible ulcers as a result of being under the sun too much Outward Bound camp, we took tomyum and the herbal one.)

Also the assortment of food there was quite amazing.











(I LOVE THE FISHBALLS!! They are no ordinary fishballs because they are filled with meat!!!! ^_^)





While the food was cooking I took a pictures. Lol.







And then I prevented everyone from cooking so I could get a nice picture. Lol again.

Another dish we we all loved was the pieces of pork fried in preserved bean sauce (?). Damn nice and crispy okay. Thanks to Jamie who suddenly stood up and rushed to the buffet counter halfway while eating. They didn't refill this after it was all gone, and believe me, it was gone so quickly.






Yup, for RM 19.80, Chong Qing is well worth a visit. After converting it to British pounds it is only around 3.15 British pounds *sobs*

I'm definitely visiting Chong Qing when I get my arse back to Malaysia.

I found my white horse, where is my Prince Charming?



Saw horses grazing the other day as the train roared on in the picturesque English countryside. One caught my eye because it was WHITE.

Anyway I remember thinking to myself "I've found the white horse but my Prince Charming is no where to be found".



Pfffft. Wistful thinking.

Chicken rice + blackberry ice-cream


Cooked chicken rice the other day for 2 friends.

Taugeh is so expensive here after converting *grumbles*. In Malaysia RM 3.41 can buy a bloody big bag enough to use for a pillow. Or has the price gone up again?

And the other day went blackberry picking. Got poked by thorns in the process as well. Heh.

Really felt like throwing in the towel today...

and just going to hell with everything and going back home for reasons I can't explain. Seriously. (The cold weather is making me feel miserable as well, and it's only the START of autumn damnit.)

And then I just read the boyfriend's short email which he wrote me during his really short break time *touched* and now I'm just going to slog through everything until he comes over to find me and we go to Europe.

Want to visit the Spanish Steps with us, anybody?

Mini popiah VS Malaysia's political scene

I honestly find reading about mini popiah more interesting than about rubbish related to the Malaysian political scene. In fact, I was seriously outraged when I was reading about the latest happenings.


I mean, the REPORTER was arrested for writing about what she heard, but the guy who said it gets away with it with a 3 year party suspension and still refuses to apologize for his remarks?


Think about it; if he never said it, would ourthe DPM apologized on his behalf?
