How do I keep the light going?

It's very difficult for me. Especially since I snap or go berserk easily when I feel like I'm being neglected. Forgotten about. Taken for granted.

But I really want to keep this. Really I do.

Dear God, hear me and grant me the patience and strength to make me a better person. Amen.

What's the point....

..of going online when the only person you want to talk to is not there? And what's the point of telling the person you will be online when he/she doesn't really care?

UPDATE: Just ranted on my newly-revived other blog. It's private, btw.

If I can't dazzle you with my 100-volt smile, at least my new ring will.

Yes, I do have a 100-volt smile. Too bad it can't kill. But let me assure you my smile will dazzle you. Heh.

If it can't or if you're dead by then, at least my ring will. Lol. Not engagement ring or a diamond ring lar, wtf. For that, we will all have to look at *coughcoughDonnycough* the future.

I'm talking about a ring given to me by my ex-colleague, aka. Spaz Bunny aka. ah Meow.
Btw, please don't ask me why her nicknames are so unique.

The colours are a wee bit dull in this lighting.

Found out that apparently that 'cha-boh'(girl) handmakes accessories. So, I saw a ring she was wearing one day to work, and it was made of Swarowski crystals.

Yup, more like the real colours.

Thanks a lot for the ring, Dawn. <333 it.

Btw, if you like the ring shown above, well, she's selling custom-made accessories at really affordable prices. The ring shown above will only cost you around RM 25 lar, wtf. Summore people can custommize for you and furthermore it's made using real Swarowski crystals lar tiu. Not cheap meh?

You can contact her at hangsubuh@gmail.com (<-tengok betapa spastik dia, lol) for more details kay?

Watching the boyfriend ride something else at Sunburst KL 2008.

Okay, no matter how WRONG the above title sounds, sadly, it is true.

I mean, the proof was right in front of my eyes. I even had time to take pictures catching him in the act. What could I do besides take photos?

After all, who am I to begrudge him a good time right? Especially since....*ehem ehem*

See what's written on the tickets?

Yup. Free tickets, free beer, great performances, got to listen to someone whom I've been dying to hear sing live perform, got to meet the person as well as spent the whole day with my darling.

The whole post later, this should be enough to bite on for a while since I am still waiting for some photos.

So many events taking place this week!!

And I feel truly blessed to be able to attend them.

More updates later, when all the pictures have come in, then I'll be able to do proper blog entries on each event as a well-fitting "Thank you" to each of the event organizers.

Later.

Quiet everywhere as Malaysia Decides.

Since it was voting day today, I gather a lot of people will be at home waiting for the latest news on which political party won which seat.

So far, as stated on Malaysiakini.com, some of the latest live reports are:

Ramasamy knocks out Koh in Batu Kawan - 8.27pm

Unofficial - Prof P Ramasamy has defeated outgoing Penang chief minister Koh Tsu Koon by a majority of 3,000 votes. Koh is the most senior BN leader to have lost so far.

DAP reclaims Kota Melaka - 8.15pm
DAP has won Kota Melaka, a seat which the party lost in 2004.

Opposition closer to taking Penang - 8.20pm

Having unofficially won 17 of the 40 state seats in Penang, the opposition is currently leading in six other seats with a wide margin. They need to pick up just another four seats to take over government in the island state.

PAS retains Kelantan: PAS president press sec - 7.50pm
According to Roslan Shahir Mohd Shahir, who is the press secretary of PAS president Hadi Awang, PAS has unofficially won 31 of the 45 state seats.

He said that PAS' Nasharuddin Mat Isa has beaten Umno's Awang Adek Husin in Bachok. Awang Adek, who is deputy finance minister, also lost in the state seat of Perupok, which is under Bachok.

And interestingly enough :

Voter turnout tops 70 percent - 7.58pm

At 7.30pm, voter turnout nationwide was reported at 70 percent, but the figure is expected to go up as more information comes in.

Election Commission head Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman.told a press conference in Putrajaya that turnout was highest in Kelantan and Putrajaya (81% each), followed by Terengganu and Perlis (79 percent), Selangor (74 percent) and Pahang (73 percent).

The lowest turnout was for the Federal Territory of Labuan at 59 percent. Generally, about 70-75 percent of voters come out to vote for each general election.

For those who actually exercised their option to vote this time around, great job!

But boo to the people who didn't manage to register to vote this time around like me.

Let's see how the results go this time around, and may the 'winners' whoever they may
be NOT let the rakyat down.

I was such a cow dot com / bad angles make ah ling fat

Eeewww, was looking at pictures on my Facebook account and godamnit, I was so damned FAT I couldn't even recognize myself in my class photo back in 2002.
Seriously. Iwassuchacowdotcom.

Even looking at photos from 2 years ago made me cringe.

This photo is a perfect example of what bad angles + a fat ah ling will look like:

Shit, I was so fucking ROUND. The HORROR.

Taken in Langkawi on the suspension bridge at the cable cars' place.

And this was taken 5 months ago.

Okay, self-criticism and self-mockery time over.

Ah ling out.
