Carlsberg - Part of the game : Football fans, you have been warned.

www.partofthegame.tv

When football mad and beer loving fans exist, it only makes sense for one of the largest beer companies around to launch their very own Web TV about football and fan life.

Yeah. Carlsberg Web-TV, which encompasses 5 channels which shows all aspects about....Football. Things from classic football matches, to life as a fan of the game.

If you're going to check Partofthegame.tv out, you HAVE to look at all the football funnies which can be found on the Football Magic channel. And if you have any favourite football moments as well (which I trust you would) regardless of where they're from, upload them as well to share!

www.partofthegame.tv

Yup, click www.partofthegame.tv to have a look for yourself, or click on the link below to have a look at the web tv site dedicated to football, football, and more football.

I wanna go home.

How much longer can I take this?

I don't know, but I am seriously considering going home now.

Lesson of the day.

Today I learned that losing your appetite during winter is never a good idea. You end up feeling unbearably cold, and 5 layers of clothing, thick socks and gloves in the house don't help at all.

P.S: I saw snow on the ground today.

Words fail me.

I'm just sitting here and looking at you, my dear computer screen and words just fail me.

I can't do this anymore and I just can't live this life anymore, it's too full of sadness.

You will not know...

..how hard it is to be alone here in a foreign country. The pressure of looking for a job in the recent economic situation. The feeling of freezing every single second in a day. How hard it is to pick myself up and move on. How hard it is to read your 'letter' and find out that "mutual" is not mutual at all since I don't get any say in this matter at all.
how unhappy I am and will be.

Braden Power - A Founder of Power Properties.

*Sponsored post*

Aptly named after the founders, Power Properties’ name says it all. Power Properties was formed in 1990 to rehabilitate buildings in the more run down parts of Dallas, Texas.

Take a look at all the properties available for sale or for rent on Power Properties now. I am so envious. Really. Look at all the designs of the properties there. Personally I feel that the even the names (Stardust!!) are so pretty and the pictures of the properties help reinforce that notion of mine.

It is really interesting to note that Power Properties is partly the brainchild of
Braden Power, who was a ‘troublemaker growing up where hardly a day went by when he did not get caught leaving campus, talking in class or committing other minor infractions at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas.’

It is also worthwhile mentioning that Braden Power had a talent for creating living space that would appeal most to young, single professionals and also understanding that to his target audience, design and community as well as convenient places were extremely important.

If you are living in Dallas, Texas or looking to move there soon, have a look at Power Properties online and check out the various properties available there. Any enquiries can also be answered 24/7, and the contact number is on the website as well.

My plant is smarter than your plant because my plant is a blogging plant.

Seriously.

A blogging plant, wtf.

And NO, you really are about to read about a blogging plant. Except that it isn't my plant, and I'm not typing this before/during/after smoking crack. I don't smoke crack-lah!

There really is a blogging plant in Japan wtf. And it's name is Midori (you may call her? it??! Midori-san though).
What's next?! Hooking up a hamster to the Internet and teaching it to run specified number of turns on the wheel to log-in to Blogspot?

Anyway, Midori-san's typical blog entry is as thus : "Today was a sunny day and I was able to sunbathe a lot. I had quite a bit of fun today."

Well, if it were my plant, it's blog's entry would prolly reflect the torture it goes through daily, with me not having green fingers and a can't-be-arsed attitude towards plant care.

Something like "Today, just like yesterday, I hate myself for being a plant.I have only one leaf left and before I can produce my own food (photosynthesis) I fear I am going to be annihilated. Yesterday a few people used my pot as an ashtray and I am going to choke from all the carbon monoxide and body odour collecting in my body."

It's a tough life being a plant, especially in the city. But at least my plant can be proud of its' vocabulary, hurhurhur.

Sheffield Oriental Night Party @ Embrace

Let's see..Embrace is a nightclub in Sheffield. It consists of 5 rooms. And I realize that the above sentences sound as if I am writing an essay or I have written them under the influence of substances.

On Tuesday, well, we attended the Oriental Night Party @ Embrace, and made it into a reunion of ex-coursemates. Well, those who were around, anyway.

Shite, what a horridly unflattering angle for me. I swear my stomach is a lot flatter than that!! And this is like the only picture of us girls together leh!

Shubie, Xerri, Cheryl, Beiyi & I (Xerri & Beiyi came down all the way from Belbur!)

Actually, I found another picture of us girls only..
Much better..

This time with Jeremy, ah Yong and Peter.

And I know I'm digressing but Jeremy's blog has damn 7 lot of pictures (unlike mine) and well, it's interesting to note that he documents his travels so well.

And Peter, well, let's just say that on that day he was suffering from a truly horrible adverse reaction to seafood, and that his eyes were a whole lot better than before leaving the house. He decided to be a 'Korean' on that day, lol..Anhansayeoh..How do you say it?! Lol... Damn kesian wei..

And there was a panda. Seriously, a panda (Well, two, actually) in Embrace, beat that!!

Okay-lah, I lied. It was actually a guy dressed like a panda (Eh, hello? Halloween is on the 31st!).

So we took pictures with the panda.

And acted chio with it.

Give me a real breathing chubby panda any day though.

Like the ones in the picture above, except real pandas would prolly be right dangerous to play with if they weren't caged.

ah ling : Here panda panda panda *Sticks out hand to pat it*
Panda : Grrrrowwwwwwllllllllll! *bites hand*

See, this is what I mean, wtf. If my very own Candy the labrador could bite me (luckily labradors don't have sharp teeth!!) playfully, how about a panda? *Shudders*
Hamsters bite as well, and they hurt and hamsters have TINY teeth and penises too, come to think of it wtf, so how about a panda?!

Shut up ah ling.

Well, I will always be me, and guys will always be guys... LOL!! Tsktsktsk..*Shakes head*

Enough blogging!!

xoxo,
ah ling

KT Tunstall - Suddenly I see

Was at Meadowhall Shopping Mall at the Food Court, eating my McDonald's Quarter Pounder and watching the huge TV there when this song came on. I've heard it many times before but never knew whom it was by or what the name of the song was.
Enjoy!

Closet readers, I bid you hello! =) / Belly Good Restaurant - not the best place to be if you are a pig.

Was pleasantly surprised to find out that a couple of ex-course mates from uni days are my closet readers. Lol.

Actually, when I first found out, I wondered what random rubbish I'd written before on the blog and if they had read about it.

Anyway I'm at home now and bored as hell. I quit my job last week. Seriously. I left at lunchtime and called the people in charge to say I'm never going back. It was either I quit, or slog it until I go mad, or get fired. I chose the first option, and I'm sticking to it.

The boyfriend got real excited when he called me, asking me with non-concealed excitement, questions like "Did you throw the headset and walk off?!" wtf -__-"""

Yeah, enthusiasm is a bitch. Especially if it is aimed at you, and you're not really up for it. But bless, he bothered to call me and ask me if I'm alright, and that's why he is the boyfriend to ME.
The boyfriend has a non-halal post btw, so hop on over to read about his food review of Belly Good Restaurant - The Pork Lovers' Paradise which is obviously a really good place to be if you:

(a)are Human
(b)eat pork
(c)are around the PJ area

but obviously not a good place to be if you are a pig.
Okay, I am so spouting rubbish off the top of my head right now, but go read read the review leh! I wish I could go now to makan (this is what happens to bloggers who read food reviews first thing in the morning).

On hiatus away from here.

Feeling kinda down and a wee bit left out.

But that's expected, isn't it, when you are many miles away from home.

The title above says it all. Don't miss me too much cos' I'm fine and I'll be back soon yah? And keep checking back for updates hor.

P.S: Thank you for calling today, Mr 'Pure and Innocent and Cute'.

P.P.S: I hate it whenever my questions go unanswered. Especially if you know that I expect an answer and you just ignore them.

Advertising - a way of staying ahead in the travel industry.

*Sponsored post*

Seems that since winter is well on it's way here, many people would love to spend the next few months away in a much warmer climate. Me included, but unfortunately, I don't quite have the means to do so. I digress.

The point is, I am quite sure that many people are shopping around for attractive travel packages to jet off to sunnier places, but how are the various travel agencies going to reach out and make them aware of the different options available?

Definitely by advertising, of course. But then again, advertising is such the norm through various media that companies have to keep coming up with different approaches and sending different messages to their audiences in order to let their brand stand out, be at the forefront of advertising and ultimately to be ahead of their competitors.

So, been thinking of advertising in a totally unrivalled way yet?

Well, I really like the way this
Full Service Advertising Agency wrote that "it has never been more important to make your brand stand out and to give your customers compelling reasons to travel with you" in their website. It's true, isn't it?

www.conrad.co.uk has managed to develop highly productive relationships with the relevant media, so you can be certain that the right message and media mix will be tailored for your business's success. As such, why not hop over to their website and have a look at their portfolio and jump on the right advertising bandwagon, and make this decision with no regrets?

Making decisions with no regrets,

I hope I chose the right choice today. Feeling ever so jaded, so my choice was to walk away.

now, my left arse cheek is bruised and battered. and so are certain parts of my left arm. Sigh.

Have a good weekend ahead eh?

I'm moving to my own room!!

Yeah! Got the keys from the landlord already and my current room mate helped me move some stuff down. To be more precise, loads of plastic bags and I brought down my luggage bag which I use for hand luggage.

Lots more things to be moved though, like my laptop, my clothes in the wardrobe, toiletries, big luggage bag, more plastic bags full of untouched shopping stuff, underwear, etc., you get the point.

And also have to go buy bed covers for the bed leh. Happy days!
